SPLIT PERSPECTIVE

DESIGN OF AN ART GALLERY

Level 2 | Term 02
Project Type : Recreational
Site Area : 2390 sqm
Duration : 3 Weeks
Assignment : Individual
Studio Instructors : Masum Billah, Farzana Siddiqua

Set within a virtual rectangular site bordered by a serene forest to the north, this project celebrates the interplay of nature and architecture. I opted for splitting the form diagonally into two zones, to achieve functional clarity while creating a striking modern aesthetic.

Visitors can experience art and nature seamlessly, with two ramps weaving through the structure and into the forest, offering an immersive journey that blurs the boundaries between built and natural environments. The gallery’s spatial arrangement ensures that both art and context are celebrated, fostering a dynamic and contemplative experience for visitors.
